Adding Services

Services are, as the name suggests, what you offer your clients. You need to configure your services and update your availibility before your clients will be able to make bookings. Let's go through how to set up services:

1. Select "Services" from the sidebar menu

2. Add a New Service: Begin by clicking the "Create Service" button to add a new service to your list of offerings

3. Enter Service Details:

  • Name the service
  • Fill out what you'd like to appear on the invoice line
  • Provide a description of the service for clients to see on your service listing page

4. Set Service Price: Enter the price for the service and toggle whether it should be displayed on the service listing page

5. Define Notice Period: Specify the notice period, which is the lead time for booking. This determines how far in advance clients can make a booking before the scheduled start time.

6. Determine Service Duration: Set the length of time allocated for the service

7. Add Booking reminder: This allows the system to automatically send your client a booking reminder. Select the medium (SMS or email) and how long before the booking you would like the message to be sent. Click "save" to keep your settings

8. Toggle Group Service Option: Decide whether the service is one-on-one or a group service by toggling the appropriate option. By default, it's set to one-on-one. You can also define the size of group bookings.

9. Finish Adding your Service: Once all details are entered, click the "Add Service" button to add the service to your ReserveIt Service listing page

Additional Features for Services:

fter adding a Service, you have the option to further customize it. Click on the service you've created to access its details. From here, you can do the following:

1. Access Messaging Tab: Under the heading "Service" you'll see two options: "Service Details" and "Messaging". Select Messaging

2. Edit Message Template:

  • In the Edit Message template, you'll see placeholders enclosed in curly brackets . These placeholders should not be changed, as they contain information that ReserveIt uses to personalize the message
  • For example, {Client.firstName} and {Client.lastName}, are placeholders that the ReserveIt System will use to insert the your clients First Name and Last Name when they make a booking
  • Customize the message by adding text before and after the placeholders

3. Edit Practitioner Booking Confirmation:

  • Start by editing the Practitioner Booking Confirmation email or SMS. Click on either one to modify the message displayed according to your needs

4. Edit Client Booking Confirmation Message:

  • Similarly, edit the email and SMS messages sent to clients to confirm their bookings

5. Edit Client Booking Update Message:

  • This includes both the email and SMS notifications sent to clients when any changes are made to their booking.

6. Client Booking Cancel Message:

  • Lastly, review and personalize the email and SMS notifications sent to clients when their bookings are cancelled
